Being a translator is known as a job with various challenging works to do. It can be a problem that actually is able to grow faster and wider than we are never expected before; such as, have to deal with many different problematic areas, that is related to the Issues in Translation. Moreover, translation becomes a common activity that is need full of knowledge and concern about the structural words of the sentences; or sometimes known as the essential things of translating. Grammatical Issues


The first and the common Issues in Translation is grammatical problems. Not a few people can be denied that they are making a mistake about the grammar, especially while they are having a job to translate one language to another one. Moreover, grammatical problems are included; aspect, or known as the appearance indicates about the process that is represented the verb from the point of view in its development. Besides, most of translators also do some mistakes while they are differentiating some simple word; such as the use of pronouns as subjective and objective or “who” and “whom”, or even “farther” and “further” as the examples.

Lexical and Semantic


Lexical and Semantic are known as the problems that you, as the translator, can learn and find by looking to the dictionaries, terminology, and even glossaries. Besides, you will know that these problems are mostly affect some units; such as, contextual synonyms and antonyms, semantics gaps, neologisms, and so on. Not a few people can avoid these Issues in Translation, that is known as the one that mostly happened while you are translating one language into another language. On the other hand, you do not have to forget to keep the consistency of the semantics’ identification feature and the lexical networks.

Pragmatic Problems


The third Issues in Translation, is pragmatic problems. If you come with this problem, it means you have to be careful in differentiating the formal and informal modes of “you”, especially as the idiomatic phrases, irony, sarcasm, humor, and so on. In some case, not a few people are having some difficulties in differentiating the use among the formal and informal “you”. As result, pragmatic becomes the one that mostly happen to many people.

In brief, actually, there are many main Issues in Translation that done by many translators while they are translating. However, those three points are the common issues that happen to many people.
